Boating
I took note that Dr. Kip Becker enjoys boating I thought it would only be fitting to give his sport a little love. Unfortunately it appear that the catamarans will not be in future Olympic competitions. I do believe that other boating sports suck as skulling will continue. The picture to the side is a catamaran in the Olympic Tornado Class.

Proud to be a Terrier
As a BU student I must root along our teams with pride. The Boston University Department of Athletics website (http://www.goterriers.com/) provides a nice look at all the sporting events going on. While BU is mostly known for outstanding academics we also have fantastic athletes. For instance our hockey team always ranks amongst the top teir.

C’s
The Boston Celtics are simply amazing. What can I say beyond 17…soon to be 18. I know there are a lot of doubters now that the Big 3 have departed however this fancise has constantly risen to the top. This year we will depend highly on Jeff Green and Rajon Rondo.

The Irish
Growing up I had all of 3 channels to watch on TV one of which was NBC. Since I am Irish and the team was amazing when I was a kid led me to become a fan. Last year while it ended with a bad loss in the National Championship. Since Coach Kelly has joined the team we are now once again relevent. We will see just how good the team is this coming week as we face our rival Michigan. Notre Dame has amongst the strongest histories in college football. Go Irish!

Charles Kerr
Hello Readers. I am a Boston University student studying Project Management. I created this blog to fulfill an assignment yet in doing so I share my love for sports…all of them. For this reason my favorite time of year is the fall for one gets a taste of many different forms of competition. As a New England native my loyalties primarily are in support of the local teams however one will learn that I support a wide variety of teams and players.
I am married to the best woman in the world who grabbed my attention with her love for basketball. Wrong team however one can’t have it all. My home is extremely divided in team alliances yet that can be expected with six children.
Sports have given my life direction through lessons in Statistics and English through reading newspaper articles every day to catch up from the day prior. I was also encouraged to do well academically to maintain my eligibility to play soccer, basketball, baseball and ski throughout my school aged years.
If you didn’t guess by the blog theme I’m a Washington Nationals fan. I actually grew up as one of the 5,000 Montreal Expos fans and I still rock the lid.
